Growing up in Houston, Audrey experienced the impacts of flooding and severe storms throughout my life. This helped Audrey realize the importance of addressing disaster-related challenges, leading her to pursue opportunities within the SSPEED Center to learn software like HEC-HMS and 1D/2D HEC-RAS. In the future, Audrey's goal is to better understand disaster response and contribute to creating more equitable solutions.
